Then and Now: Family Farms and Cheese Factories

Cheese heads. America’s Dairyland.

When you think of Wisconsin, you think of milk and cheese, but have you spent time to think about the people behind the dairy aisle? Host Bert Zipperer has. He grew up in a cheese factory that closed 40 years ago and he’s talking about it on WORT airways. Joining him is Norman Patterson, a 5th generation farmer from Green County, and Pete Hardin, editor and publisher of The Milkweed.
